there is a major difference between MMA and self-defense. Not knowing that difference could cost you your life!

THE EWT CLOSE-QUARTER TACTICAL PISTOL SYSTEM

  • It is a street survival technique, not a target shooting competition method - It is a sturdy, secure, and efficient platform for defensive action.

  • It is built for rapid target acquisition and the ability to quickly fire on multiple targets.

  • It provides great weapon retention ability, and is a no-nonsense and efficient base for close range fighting.

  • It can be efficiently applied in confined space, even from within a vehicle.

  • Over 90% of handgun confrontations occur under 7 yards. This system takes that into account.

The system is a modification of a system called Center Axis Relock which is a highly effective system used by the military and law enforcement. But because the civilian has different needs

and much different "rules of engagement" some modifications are needed. In addition, the

close quarter methods of empty hand application from the Ip Man Wing Chun system in combination with the handgun method of the modified CAR system make a much more efficient self-protection platform for civilian use.

Our training system is built on a Laser and Airsoft platform to allow for safe training of much needed mechanics in a realistic self-defense firearms use situation.

Most people who carry a gun for personal protection have very limited training in its use. Going to the range periodically, punching very expensive holes in paper targets at 25 yards or more is NOT training for the self-defense use of your firearm.

There are many things that you are not allowed to train at the range that are an absolute must for your self-defense tool box. Skills such as:

  • Draw and fire from your chosen carry mode.

  • Empty hand transition to the draw of the firearm.

  • Close Range Target Acquisition and Firing.

  • Point Fire vs. Aim Fire

  • Moving and shooting.

  • Engaging multiple targets.

  • Awkward position shooting.

  • Combat and Tactical Reloads.

  • Weapon Retention vs. a violent aggressor.

And a number of other Strategies and Tactical Considerations are included in our complete course curriculum.
